Sambal Jering Ikan Bilis

My all time favourite

Ikan bilis garing, jering dan cili api, buat sambal memang terangkat haha.

Simple and sedap. You should try. Even my MIL yang baru first time makan sambal jering pun suka. Laki den takyah tanya laa, apa jenis sambal pun dia memang suka especially yang ada ikan bilis. Kat Melaka susah nak jumpa jering tua, jering muda banyak. So last Saturday masa pergi pasar, tetiba ternampak makcik ni jual jering tua, cannot resist terus beli. Dalam kepala dah terbayang makan nasi panas dengan sambal jering. Ohh sedapnya. Diet haruslah hancus bila sambal jering ada dalam rumah haha.

Sambal Jering Ikan Bilis

Bahan-bahan:
Jering tua (yang dah bercambah - jering muda kelat)
Cili api hijau
Cili kering kisar
Ikan bilis
Bawang merah
Bawang putih
Garam
Gula

Cara penyediaan:
1. Basuh bersih ikan bilis dan goreng sampai garing, ketepikan. 
2. Basuh bersih jering tua, hiris nipis tapi jangan nipis sangat dan goreng. Jangan garing sangat, nanti kulit jering tu pahit dan ketepikan. 
3. Kisar halus bawang merah, bawang putih dan cili api hijau. 
4. Tumis bahan kisar sehingga naik bau dan masukkan cili kering kisar. Masukkan sedikit garam dan gula untuk perasa. Masak sampai sambal garing. 
5. Masukkan ikan bilis dan jering yang telah digoreng dan gaul sebati.

Dah siap. Makan dengan nasi panas memanglah bertambah-tambah ni hehe.

Dulu arwah wan buat sambal jering dengan cili api hijau je. Pedas menyengat, lidah terbakar tapi sedap. Kalau Mama or I yang masak, memang saja campur dengan cili kering kisar sebab boleh makan bertambah haha. Nak ratah saje pun tak la pedas sangat.

DIY Kimono Cardigan

Paired my kimono cardigan with rainbow shawl from scarfnetwork

I love my newly sew kimono cardigan that I wore this 2 days in a row! I have been meaning to sew this piece for months and only last Friday I managed to get my hands on my sewing machine. It's not that hard, you just sew a straight line and in less than 15 minutes you will have a nice flowy cardigan.

What you need:
1 1/4m of chiffon / satin crepe / satin
Pins
Thread
Scissor
Ruler
Chalk
Sewing machine

Instructions:
1. Sew all 4 edges first. You can sew yourself or send to tailor. 
2. In flat surface, fold the fabric in half (inside out) and you will get a rectangle shape. 
3. Take the edges that touch and secure it with pins. 
4. Measure from the corner end inward with ruler and mark at 10 inch (depends on you)
5. Sew a straight line from corner end to the chalk mark. 

As easy as 1 2 3

There you go, a diy kimono cardigan. I can see myself sewing this kimono for another few pieces.
